Moral injury happens when the image of God experiences evil or when one ignores her/his conscience. This session will present a theological foundation for moral injury and the need for intentional soul care for justice practitioners and others who encounter evil, such as soldiers, justice organizers, and patient caregivers. Through the power of story, participants will offer glimpses of best practices for the restoration of broken humanity to the full reflection of the image of God.
